Behind the
studio.

Studio Seahorse is run by Vikram Singh — four years building web apps end to end, most of it white-label for other studios' clients. The same hands on the interface, the API, and the database.

02 / How the studio works

One person,
whole products.

Studio Seahorse is one product engineer, and that engineer is me. I design the interface, write the API, and build the database schema for every project I take on — the same person from the first workshop to the deploy. Nothing gets lost in a handoff, because there is no handoff.

AI expands what one person can cover — research, scaffolding, the repetitive passes — but I'm still the one building it. Every architectural decision, every scope call, and every line that ships is mine, and I've read all of it before it reaches your users.

You end up owning the work, not a dependency on me. Every build hands over the repo in your name, the database schema and migrations, and the documentation to run it — so another engineer can pick it up without calling me. When a project needs a brand built from scratch, I bring in a design partner rather than pretending it's in-house.

AI expands what I can build. It doesn't decide what's worth building.
On working with AI
03 / How I work

Four rules I
don't break.

These aren't values on a slide deck. They're decisions I make every week.

01
Ship, then polish.
A working product in users' hands beats a perfect one on a Figma board. Speed uncovers real problems. Polish can wait.
02
No handoffs.
The person who scopes the work ships the work. Nothing is lost in translation when one head holds the full context.
03
AI as leverage, not a crutch.
I use AI to move faster — not to think less. Every decision is deliberate. Every line that ships has been read.
04
Fewer, deeper projects.
Two slots at a time, intentionally. When I take on a project, it gets the whole brain — not a slice of it.
04 / The person

Not just
a job title.

I'm Vikram Singh. Four years building web apps end to end — interface, API, database — most of it white-label and under NDA, for other studios' clients. Twenty-odd projects, a handful of them genuinely complex. Studio Seahorse is that same work under my own name, two projects at a time so each one gets full attention.
